Sessy AI Assistant

Ask questions about your gym in plain language and confirm changes before they are saved.

Sessy AI is a chat assistant for admins and employees in the Sessy app. Ask in your own words about members, sessions, attendance, revenue, and workouts — and let it prepare actions you review first.

What it can do

Get answers — membership stats, session attendance, popular class types, workout results, who trained together, and more.

Prepare changes — schedule or update sessions, book members, set programming, send push messages, update the banner, draft newsletters, add member notes. You always see a preview and tap Confirm before anything is saved. The same rules apply as elsewhere in the app (valid session types, locations, spots, and scheduling limits).

How to use it

  1. Sign in as Admin or Employee
  2. Open Sessy AI — floating button on desktop/tablet, or More → Sessy AI on mobile
  3. Ask a question or describe what you need
  4. If the assistant proposes a change, read the preview carefully before confirming

Suggestion chips appear when you first open the chat.

During beta, each gym has monthly limits on AI questions and confirmed changes. Usage is shown in the app.

Limits and safeguards

  • Only staff accounts for your gym can use it — data never crosses between gyms
  • Rate limits (per gym): 60 chat requests per minute; confirmed writes are capped at 30 per minute, 500 per day (UTC), and 200 per calendar month
  • AI can be wrong — double-check names, numbers, and dates before acting
  • The assistant cannot delete your gym, grant Admin access, or change billing settings
  • Sessions cannot be planned more than 6 weeks ahead (same as the calendar)
  • Always read the preview before confirming a proposed change

Optional: external AI tools

Admins create tokens under Configuration → Sessy AI → External access (MCP), choose which employee the token is for, and set its access level. Give the token to that employee to use in Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, or another MCP tool. Changes apply immediately (there is no in-app preview step), so only issue tokens you trust.
