Programming

Add session descriptions, link workouts, and import or export programming.

Programming overview

Use the Programming page in the admin space to maintain workout and session descriptions that members see when they book or attend sessions. This is separate from the Calendar, where you schedule individual sessions and manage registrations.

Open Programming from the admin navigation:

  • Desktop/tablet: side menu β†’ Programming
  • Mobile: tap the More menu (β‹―) β†’ Programming

Session descriptions

If you program workouts for specific days (for example CrossFit WODs) and want those details in the session description, add them here:

  • Select the location/calendar in the drop-down list
  • Click the session type
  • Enter the details for each day
  • Click the Save icon at the top to save your changes

Complete the session schedule first. Descriptions are only applied to scheduled sessions.

Existing descriptions for these sessions will be overwritten.

Two views are available: a monthly view and a list view. Click the List icon in the top-right corner to switch between them.

Adding benchmarks / workout logging

In the monthly view: to let members log results for a workout, click the Target icon (three circles) while editing a session. In the pop-up dialog, search for the benchmark and select it. The description is added to the session description automatically. You can edit the session description afterward; that does not remove the benchmark link.

To change or remove a benchmark, click the same Target icon, then click the trash icon to remove it, or search and select a different benchmark.

⚠️

Missing a benchmark? Let us know!

You can also link benchmarks when editing a single session on the Calendar β†’.

Export / import session descriptions

To edit your schedule in Excel or download future programming:

  • Export all future session descriptions to Excel with the Download icon (includes session dates and current descriptions)
  • Import updated descriptions with the Upload icon. Use the exported Excel file as the template and only edit the Description column
