One app for your entire business

With version 10.0.0, Sessy becomes a single app for everyone — members, coaches, and administrators. Until now, members used the Sessy member app while staff managed the business through a separate admin dashboard in the browser. That split is gone.

Everyone signs in to the same Sessy app. What you see depends on your role:

Members use the member space — Info, Schedule, and Account — exactly as before.
Staff and admins use the admin space — Dashboard, Calendar, Programming, Communication, Reports, Revenue, Payments, and Configuration.

If you have elevated access, you can switch between both spaces at any time from the app bar. Check the schedule as a member in the morning, then jump into admin to manage bookings — without logging out or opening a second app.

What this means for members

For your members, day-to-day use stays familiar:

Book sessions, join waitlists, and manage subscriptions
View session details, coaches, and fellow participants
Receive push notifications and read newsletters
Log benchmark results and track progress
Generate QR codes for facility access
Update personal details, payment methods, and preferences

Members do not need to learn anything new. The member experience they already know is still there — it now lives inside the unified Sessy app alongside the admin tools.

What this means for coaches and employees

Coaches no longer need to switch between the member app and a browser tab to do their job.

From the admin space on their phone or tablet, coaches can:

See their personal dashboard with upcoming sessions
Mark members as present or no-show
Register or unregister members for sessions
View member tags (injuries, first-time visitors, and more)
Receive and act on member notifications and checklists

Everything that used to require opening the admin dashboard on a computer is now available in the same app members already have installed.

The unified Sessy app runs seamlessly on desktop, tablet, and phone. On the web, visit my.sessy.app.

You can also install Sessy to your home screen for a fast, full-screen app experience without going through the App Store. Public flows such as starting a trial, registering new members, and completing payments also run through the unified app on web.

A consistent look and feel

The unified app brings a refreshed, modern design across member and admin areas. Glass-style cards, clear navigation, and a layout that adapts to your screen size make the app pleasant to use whether you are booking a session on a phone or reviewing revenue reports on a desktop.

Your branding — logo and colors — still applies throughout the member experience and in the admin space.

New features in this release

Beyond the unified app itself, version 10.0.0 ships a range of improvements that make day-to-day management easier:

Scheduling and calendar

Batch calendar actions — Apply your recurring schedule or clear sessions across multiple weeks and selected weekdays in one dialog. No more scheduling week by week when you need to plan ahead or clear a holiday period.
Auto-schedule per location — Turn on automatic scheduling per location or calendar and set how far ahead recurring sessions are generated (for example, keep two weeks planned at all times).
Copy recurring sessions — Duplicate recurring session templates from one location or calendar to another — ideal when opening a new site or mirroring an existing schedule.
Smarter session type changes — Renaming a session type updates all future planned sessions and recurring templates automatically. Past sessions keep their original name.

Branding and appearance

Branding per location/calendar — Override your company logo, colors, and background image for individual locations or calendars. Members see the right branding when they switch to that location in the app.
Session type colors per location — Fine-tune which colors represent each session type on a per-location basis, on top of your company-wide defaults.
Default theme for members — Set whether new members start in light mode, dark mode, or follow their system preference.

Subscriptions and payments

Bulk subscription changes — Updated a subscription type? Choose which properties to roll out to every active member subscription of that type — price, session limits, included session types, and more — without editing members one by one.
Extend expired session packs — For non-recurring subscriptions, you can adjust the end date even after it has passed — handy when a member’s pack ran out but you want to give them more time. Recently expired packs (up to 60 days ago) appear in the subscription editor under End date.
Gradual payment method migration — Switching between Stripe and SEPA direct debit export? Sessy guides you through the transition and lets existing members keep their current billing until you migrate them individually.
Stripe branding and portal, managed for you — When you use Stripe, checkout and the member payment portal automatically use your Sessy logo and colors. The customer portal is configured so members can update payment details in Stripe, while subscription changes stay in the Sessy app.

Reports

Richer Members report — The member list now shows subscription names, start and end dates, costs, and payment method per member. Members with multiple active subscriptions are listed on separate lines. Filter on any column and export the full overview to Excel — useful for billing reviews and tracking who still pays via Stripe during a payment-method migration.

Member onboarding and trials

Add members on-site — Employees can register new members directly from the app when you collect payments offline. The member completes their profile afterwards.
Trial period tools in Configuration — See your trial end date, delete test data before going live, upgrade your license, or end a trial — all from the unified admin space.

Other improvements

Sessy AI — Ask questions about your members, sessions, occupancy, and results in plain language, from desktop or mobile.
Whiteboard — Display today’s sessions, attendance, workouts, and leaderboards on a TV at your facility.
Better on iPad and tablet — Native iPad support and a layout tuned for larger screens, including a collapsible member search in admin.
Results dashboard — Expand workout details inline to review member performance without leaving the overview.

Getting started

Members — update the Sessy app from the App Store or Google Play, or continue using the web app. Sign in as usual.
Staff and admins — open the Sessy app (or my.sessy.app on web) and sign in with your existing account. Use the space switcher in the app bar to open the admin space.
